I’m almost distressed to group him under the style ‘classic rock’, only because I grew up during that era, but one of the master’s of classic rock is about to hit the theaters live repeatedly and tour. Our good ol’ friend Jackson Browne has let the cat out of the bag, unleashing over 20 tour dates, beginning in early June 2012. This year’s Jackson Browne tour consists of the usual concert stops that his show normally appears at. Sticking to what works, Jackson Browne will be found at smaller, cozy theaters and outdoor parks, festivals and amphitheaters. Jackson Browne is as genuine and straight up as they come and you can hear it in his songs. As an astonishing musician, songwriter and entertainer, viewing Jackson Browne live in concert is a specific thing you really need to feel for yourself. His music his so real and is overflowing with emotion and feelings. Without even realizing it, I speculate you know about 10 of his songs and they’re all classics that will always give new fans. The already announced 25 or so Jackson Brown concerts span from the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles on June 9th, on past August 15th at Cain Park in Cleveland. A minimum of one stop will be at The Beacon Theatre in New York City on August 3rd. More shows and dates are sure to be included in the Jackson Browne Tour and will be listed as they are Officially Released.

One Direction is this years mega famous youth group that originally was established through the broadcast production The X-Factor. The 5 blossoming idols began as different contestants but got together to form One Direction and was tied to a record contract by Simon Cowell. This years One Direction Tour is in such demand that each show sold out instantly and ticket prices to most of the One Direction Concert Dates have flew through the roof. The young men are so in-demand that when they appear anywhere, the shrieks and roar of their fans is deafening. They also have a full tour schedule set for 2013 and their One Direction Tour Dates include almost 100 shows. If you have any teen or pre-teen daughters, get ready to get out your wallets because tickets are tricky to find and they will cost you. The demand for the gang is so high that lots of folks are comparing the blitz of girls to way back when The Beatles first came to light. Big Time Rush Concert Tour

The well known Nickelodeon boy band Big Time Rush is starting a “Big Summer Tour” in July, 2012 and will go on in over 50 cities all over North America.

Recognized as the headliners of Nickelodeon’s television production Big Time Rush or also known as BTR, the boy band will kick off their “Big Summer Tour” 2012 in July. Big Time Rush will stop by over 50 towns in North America including Boston, Dallas, Miami, Detroit, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and several more.

In 2009, the television program Big Time Rush or BTR pilot began on Nickelodeon. The show is about the Hollywood quests of four Minnesota hockey players. Kendall, James, Carlos and Logan are picked to establish an all boy band. The program officially started airing in 2010 with 6.8 million viewers. The third season of this prominent television show begins preparation in April, 2012.

The television show stars Kendall Schmidt as Kendall Knight, Carlos Pena, Jr. as Carlos Garcia, James Maslow as James Diamond and Logan Henderson as Logan Mitchell. A different boy band that appeared on a television series was the musical comedy show “The Monkees” all the way in 1966.

Now Big Time Rush is treading further than their television series for a North American tour that includes over 50 cities. They will sing tunes from their latest recording “Elevate” including “Elevate,” “All Over Again,” and “Music Sounds Better With U.” I know that my kids can’t wait for those Big Time Rush Concerts to come.

During selected tour dates, X-Factor finalist and Australian pop star Cody Simpson and Rachel Crow of Nickelodeon will open for Big Time Rush. More acts will be revealed in the near future. Big Time Rush supposedly said, “We can’t wait to hit the road again! The Better with U Tour has been awesome and we’re thankful to our admirers who have stood behind us and made our headlining tour a success.”

Big Time Rush pushes fans to pre-order the “Big Time Rush Movie” soundtrack on the net at iTunes. On their own web page, Big Time Rush announces they are nominated for the Kids’ Choice Awards 2012 and ask devoted admirers to cast a ballot for them.

Kristin Chenoweth Tour

Kristin Chenoweth supporters are going to at last have the opportunity to see her in her personal headlining Kristin Chenoweth Tour. For the first time ever in her fantastic career, Kristin Chenoweth will be headlining her own concert tour. The blonde powerhouse is performing her country, broadway and opera expertise on the road for a nice sized North American Tour. On May 9th, 2012, she launches her tour schedule at the Paramount in Seattle and leads her tour all the way until late June where she ends her shows in her former home town of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

One detail with Kristin Chenoweth is that you don’t know what you’re going to get next. Is it a tune from Glee, or something the musical Wicked, or one of her new country sensations? You’ll just have to go to one of her concerts and find out!

The star will also have dancer, back-up singers and some pretty elaborate choreography. The Kristin Chenoweth tour will be directed by Richard Jay-Alexander, who has put together shows and stage sets for Bernadette Peters, Barbra Streisand and Bette Midler. Phish Tour Dates

Phish is hitting the bricks this 2012 Summer starting on June 7th with 2 shows at DCU Center in Worcester and the tour stops with three nights in a row at Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY on  July 6 – 8. As said before, on June 10, 2012, Phish will play a full two-set show at the 2012 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. Look below for all official Phish Tour Dates.

Radiohead Tour Dates

Radiohead have revealed 2012 tour dates for the first part of their first full-on tour of the United States since 2008. The band will kick off the tour in Miami on February 27th, just over a year after the release of their most recent record, The King of Limbs. Oklahoma indie rockers Other Lives will be the opening act for this run of shows.
With the band headlining Coachella Music Festival this year, it’s only right that they add a few more tour dates for the left coast.
Radiohead Tour Dates has added San Jose, Santa Barbara and Seattle to their West Coast tour schedule.

Jack White Tour

It felt as if the earth shattered when I heard the news that The White Stripes where ending their music career as a band. I thought to my self, ‘No more White Stripes albums?’ But alas, Jack White has graced us with some solo music and a small Jack White Tour. Only a handful of 2012 Jack White Tour Dates have been announced so far, but it should be enough for all you White Stripes fans out there.

Coldplay Tour Dates

Coldplay has announced their 21 tour dates 2012 North American tour, in support of its just-released fifth album, Mylo Xyloto.

The Coldplay Tour kicks off on April 17, 2012 in Edmonton, Alb. and will end on August 11th 2012 in St. Paul, Minn. Concert Tickets for most shows and concerts go on sale on December 17th.

The fifth album from Coldplay, Mylo Xyloto, became No. 1 album upon its Oct. 25, topping the Billboard 200 with almost 450,000 copies sold in its first week. Although the album was released after the 2012 Grammys eligibility period, its first two singles, ‘Every Teardrop is a Waterfall’ and ‘Paradise’, were nominated for Best Rock Peformance and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, respectively.

While ‘Paradise’ sits at No. 4 on the current Rock Songs chart, Coldplay’s next single, ‘Charlie Brown’, will be sent to radio stations shortly.
